  1. Victor Frankenstein is curious about the human compositely because he wants to eliminate diseases and establish mortality. “Wealth was an inferior object, but what glory would attend the discovery if I could banish disease from human frame and render man invulnerable to any but a violent death! Nor were these my only visions.”(Shelly, 40) He not only wanted to eliminate illnesses but a philosopher intrigued him as well. “On this occasion a man of great research in natural philosophy was with us… he entered on the explanation of a theory he formed on electricity and galvanism, which was at once new and astonishing to me.”(Shelly, 40) Victor Frankenstein intrigued by creating life due to a philosopher theory and he wants for curing illnesses.
