I Want Love and Connections! Love...Love and Connections

In Chapter 15-16,  the monster finds our how his creator truly feels about him and later saves a little girl from a lake after swearing and cursing revenge all the people in the village/cottage a and deeming revenge on them because of previous activity with Felix and others...

What do you think inside the monster, made him change his mind about saving the drowning little girl, and why hasn't the monster killed his creator yet?

  1. Maybe because he views the little girl not harmless and she is about to die and he makes the decision to save her , and he probably feels and see's in his creator as his father.

  2. That morning Frankenstein changed his mood to gentleness and happiness because of the cheerfulness he got from the sunshine ."Half surprised by the novelty of these sensations, I allowed myself to be borne away by them; and forgetting my solitude and deformity, dared to be happy... I even raised my humid eyes with thankfulness towards the blessed sun which bestowed such joy upon me." (Shelley 125). The nature changes Frankenstein's mood and caused him to save the little girl from the kindness of his heart.

  3. There is something about the person that created you that stops people from doing many things, a sense of natural love and protection for that person. He might save the young girl because of the innocense she might pertray or the mere fact that deep down he truly does not want to see anything painful happen to anyone, against him or not.
