Isolation from
society has had a dynamic impact on the monster. Seldom for when he spied on the
De Lacy family, his daily life was boring and unrewarding.
To what extent has isolation carved the
monster’s personality and ideals? Will the addition of a female counterpart
better him or possibly destroy him and others? And lastly, is it always better to have someone to go through trials and suffering with? Try to make some connections to observations and readings please.
Frankenstein and the people have crowned the monster as ruler of the kingdom of isolation. As a result, he's developed a sense of apathy and loneliness, internally pleaded for acceptance and love. A female counterpart, well any lover or life partner will only wane his melancholy sentiments for he'll have someone to comprehend his pain. He cannot necessarily be bettered for he already has a nearly pure heart and an innocent aura. It's emotionally benefiting to have a significant other share one's adversity, lovers or partners serve as the backbone for one's overcoming of obstacles. You understand them and they understand you and most importantly they' are right there; nothing is greater than suffering with your love.
ReplyDeleteIsolation has played a huge part in the monster's personality and ideas. As he sat in the hut all alone he began to reminisce on his experiences and how he had been abandoned by Victor. This made him furious and resentful of Victor. Being isolated made the monster feel as though he wasn't good enough, he just wanted to be excepted by everyone and most of all Victor. The addiction of the female counterpart will help the monster because he will then have someone who can relate to him as well as a companion so that he will not be lonely. It is always better to have someone to go through trails and suffering with because sometimes it is just too much to handle by yourself. When you have someone else they can encourage you and ensure you that everything will be alright. It is just nice to have someone who cares during tough times to let you know that you are not alone. Henry was Victor's help through his tough times and sickness.
ReplyDeleteThe isolation that had a large amount of affect on the monster personality and ideals. The monster having not known and felt love is somewhat similar to a Orlando child. The monster holds many human emotions and the family made him realize just how much he wasn't happy and howmuch it hurt him, thus making him angry and vengeful and hateful. Ghemonsfer also learnedly and knowledge is both curse and blessing as we've learner from the brillantVictor. The monster request fora femalemate might have helped him become better. With company and with love everything is better and the monster would probably have benifitted from the company. However the monster meant to be mate probably would not have come out right and as we have learned from Victor creating the monster that was never meant to be, things never turn out as expected.
