• What does the monster assure to do if Frankenstein will create a female of his own sort for him?
If Frankenstein will create a female of his own sort for him, the monster assures to leave Victor and his family alone and wander off with his female. However, Victor refuses to create a mate for the monster out of fear that the species will become dominant and destroy mankind. Because of Victor's rejection the monster kills his beloved wife, Elizabeth.
Frankenstein wanted Victor to create a wife for him so that he could feel human. He felt so touched when he learned about Safie and Felix's story that he wanted to experience more of the great human feeling that is called "love". Understandably, Victor refuses because he knows that creating another monster will only cause more chaos. Out of spite, the creature kills Elizabeth, Victor's fiancee.
The monster asks Victor to create a female monster so that he could have a companion and not be so lonely. If Victor creates this other monster, he would leave to somewhere far so that he would not mess with no more humans especially Victor.
Because the monster wants to feel like everyone else and have a companion he asks Frankinstian to create a women for him assuring Frankenstein he will leave him alone since he will have his own family
If Frankenstein creates a female friend for the monster then the monster will leave. The monster promises to travel to South America and never leave, and to only eat of nuts and berries. He also promises to make his own living space and to be peaceful. " if you consent, neither you nor any other human being shall ever see us again; I will go to the vast wilds of South America. My food is not that of man; I do not destroy the lamb and the kid to glut my appetite; acorns and berries afford me sufficient nourishment...We shall make our bed of dried leaves...the picture I present to you is peaceful and human" (Shelley 3240
